■ How Does Die Casting Manufacturing Work
 
In the series production of comparatively complex metal parts, the die casting process is considered one of the most efficient and reliable manufacturing methods.
 
During the process, liquid metal is injected under high hydraulic or pneumatic pressure into permanent steel molds (cavities). This allows the production of precise metal components with high repeatability, good surface quality, and efficient cycle times.
 
Due to their comparatively low melting point and excellent casting properties, aluminum, zinc, and magnesium are among the most commonly used materials in die casting manufacturing.
■ Hot Chamber Process

The hot chamber process is one of the most widely used die casting methods.

In this process, the casting system is immersed directly in the molten metal.
The molten material is forced into the mold through a swan-neck-shaped injection system.

The hot chamber process is mainly used for metals with lower melting points, including:

■ Cold Chamber Process

The cold chamber process is used for alloys with higher melting temperatures.

In this method, the molten metal is transferred from an external melting furnace into the injection chamber. A hydraulic piston then injects the metal into the mold cavity under high pressure.
